Only in California do you get the beach (palm trees) and snow covered mountains all in the same shot! I took these pictures from my car today driving through Ventura. Wow, what a gorgeous site! The snow level has been so low with the big storms we have been having. The kids want to go visit the snow so bad. I have to explain that it is still faraway. I know, it's nothing compared to what you Utah and Colorado people are getting right now, but it is pretty with the palm trees right? You got to miss CA??

Ok Leese - you officially made me homesick! It's been cold here and I have to listen to my mom complain about rain and 55 degrees...I can remember when I thought that was normal!
