Spencer is now finding things that are great about being eight. He is so excited about cub scouts! Tonight was Spencer's first Pack Meeting...and mine!! Isn't the picture way cute? My little cub scout was all decked out...me too! Spencer was welcomed into the scout program tonight. He received a bunch of awards from attending day camp this summer and also graduated from Bobcat to Wolf. He is very excited (me too!) and so he has been working on scouts like crazy. He has already started working on his wolf. He got his first "bead". Yah, not sure what that means yet either. So here we go...we are starting the scout thing. I was just called to be the Webelos leader. No, I am not Spencer's leader, which is a little different, but I will be all educated by the time he moves up to me. GO SCOUTS!!

CONGRATS to our newest Cub Scout. It was fun to be there with you and brought back a lot of memories of your four uncles activity in scouts...and Sister Kreiner is still there. You and your mom looked really sharp in your new uniforms.
Yeah!! He is on his way. Jake will be there in April. Enjoy it. It will go so fast.

What fun! Cole turns 8 in Feb...these guys are getting too old to fast! (I am hearing Fiddler on the Roof in my sentimental mind!)
He looks so cute in his uniform! All my Spencer wants for his birthday in November is the new scout uniform...he loves scouts! It's taken me forver to wrap my brain around how it all works, but it's alot of fun.
